My wife was going through photos the other day.. and she came across a photo of the car last time it saw the track.
Massive change… What do you think?
Just a small update today. I have been recovering from world time attack challenge said I have not done much to the car.
With Xmas being so close, it is difficult to get into a fabricator but hoping to get into hypertune before Xmas to get things started.
I took a drive down to Arise Autobody to have a bit of a tinker with the car.
World Time Attack Challenge 2015 is now done and dusted. Wow. What a weekend. I had an absolute blast and cant wait until the next event I can bring it out!
I just want to thank Arise Autobody for all the hard work they put in. You guys went above and beyond. Thank you so much.
Thanks to Candice Campbell Photography for the continued support, and BEAUTIFUL artwork you did on the rear bulkhead of the car. Its a beautiful center piece.
Massive shout out to my best friend and business partner Tim from SpeedRun. Couldn’t have done it without you buddy. Thanks to your help, the day was a MASSIVE success.
Here are a few iphone shots of the car, and the atmosphere.. The car was a massive hit!
And now some more professional photos that were taken… Thanks to J_Hui Photography and others!
Well, I thought it was time for a colour reveal to get everyone excited about the car! Please come check it out at World Time Attack Challenge on the Carbon Plus stand!
Massive thanks to Arise Autobody for basically building the car from a shell to what you will see on the 16th and 17th of October in 5 weeks. Amazing job. Make sure to hit them up with your project. They are also able to Project Manage your build from start to finish including mechanical, etc!
Thanks to Candice Campbell Photography for the support from day one, and providing your artistic touch (make sure to have a look at the rear bulkhead of the car!!)
Huge thanks to my business partner Tim at SpeedRun. You have put up with heaps of my shit and have sacrificed many weekends to help out.
Thanks to everyone else that have pitched in and helped along the way.. sorry if I missed you!
It’s been a big week for Arise this week.. But the biggest push is yet to come! 4 days left before the car needs to be on the stand!! Wholly crap!
Front end mocked up.. (Can you spot the little turbo? :-P )
Peekaboo! I’m thinking about running no mesh… Looks so clean without it!
The pictures just don’t really show how wide it truely is.. You really need to see it in the flesh to appricate how wide it actually is!
Buffing! And the paint is just poping under the light!
And lastly, candices artwork just gleaming after being clear coated….. Looks mint and can’t wait to get it in there!
Can’t thank Arise Autobody enough for getting the car to this stage in 5 short weeks. Including dropping the engine and so many other modifications! Make sure to give Arise a like on Facebook! Arise Autobody
Another shout-out to my beautiful wife. A lot of hours went into her artwork, and it paid off! Was good to see her painting again! Make sure to check out her photography and artworks on her Facebook page. Candice Campbell Photography
And finally, thanks to my best mate Tim Buchan for putting up with me during this whole roller coaster. Still a lot to go but so much now accomplished! Make sure to check out our business page! SpeedRun
My beautiful, talented wife finished off giving the car her own personal touch today.
She completed her painting of the rear bulkhead! Just need to get the lads at Arise to clear coat it now! YEW! Looks fucking unreal!
Work has begun on my custom cluster / dash surround. It will look awesome!
On the weekend (dispite being very sick) we temporarily dropped in the motor, and dummied up the turbo…
You don’t appreciate how big the turbo is until it is sitting on the manifold attached to the engine!
I also took the opportunity to fit up my craft square mirrors!!!
It’s really starting to come together now! Very exciting!
Special delivery from Unlimited Works in Japan.
‘Time Attack’ rear toe arms. These will help to keep the rear toe settings correct under hard acceleration as well as give a lot more adjustability in the rear!
Thanks Kaz-san!
